Tolmie State Park
This is one of my favorite parks here in Lacey– 10 minute drive from our house (Exit 111). There are 3 trails to hike and plenty of marine life to explore. I especially enjoy it when it’s high tide and there is water under the bridge. You can see tons of school of fish under the bridge and some of them are big enough to catch– did not get a chance to take photos when saw this happened since I forgot the memory card.
We went there today the reason why the bridge was wet.

Hi, I just wanted to tell you about a new site that I am working on: http://www.recreationparks.net/
Using USGS data, I’ve added records for over 60,000 parks. Here is the link for a park you have written about – Tolmie State Park: http://www.recreationparks.net/WA/thurston/tolmie-state-park-lacey
If you like the site, it would be really cool if you could mention it in your blog. I think your other readers would find it useful, and the more people who fill out the activity information about local parks, the more comprehensive the site will be. I would also love any suggestions that you have for new features for the site!
